About this learning package
The SIA Trainer 20-Hour CPD Bundle provides security trainers with a convenient and structured way to maintain their professional knowledge, develop their training practice and build evidence of continuing professional development.
The Security Industry Authority requires existing trainers, assessors and internal quality assurers delivering licence-linked security training to complete and demonstrate at least 40 hours of relevant CPD each year.
By providing 20 hours of structured CPD learning, this bundle represents 50%—half—of the minimum annual CPD requirement for SIA trainers.
The bundle brings together focused online courses covering relevant areas of security, professional practice, learner support and effective training delivery. It is suitable for experienced trainers as well as professionals developing their responsibilities within security training and assessment.
Each course is delivered online, allowing you to study around your training, assessment and work commitments.
